Artpoint have been appointed by housing developer Gladedale (South East) Ltd. to undertake the project management of their new landmark 450 house development in Funding has been secured through a S106 development agreement with Milton Keynes Council, and an integrated art programme has been devised. Artpoint initially wrote a public art plan for the site, and are currently managing the public art programme which will include a community and education element, plus Artpoint’s artist mentoring scheme; enabling emerging artists to experience working on large public art scheme. The brief for the scheme has been left open for creative interpretation from the shortlisted artists. |
