Go Public: Mentee Artist Claire Hazelton attached to Sculptural Project(11/06/2010)

Kent born artist Claire Hazelton has been attached to Lorna Giezot’s Go Public commission as a mentee artist.

Working with small scale sculptures, Claire is interested in re-engaging with public spaces and audiences away from the gallery environment.

As mentor, Lorna will involve Claire in the development of the commission and provide advice on all aspects of working as an independent artist.

This mentoring position has been developed to provide the opportunity for an emerging artist to gain access to the processes that surround the creation of public artworks.
